Dr. Iijima was born in Japan and came to the U.S. to pursue a career as a Clinical Psychologist.

She holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-California School of Professional Psychology. She enjoys supervising doctoral interns and has seen clients from various cultural/ethnic backgrounds at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities since 2007. 

 

Dr. Iijima started her private practice to serve the community by using her life experiences and her clinical experiences in 2013.　She established Hikari Adult & Older Adult Psychological Care Inc. in 2021 to be "The Light" in client's life during the challenging time.  (Hikari means Light in Japanese)
