Treatment

Dr. Iijima is a dedicated health psychologist who takes a holistic approach to well-being, considering the biological, social, behavioral, and psychological factors that influence health. She understands the deep connection between mind and body and believes that achieving balance is essential for overall wellness.

Through psychotherapy, Dr. Iijima helps clients increase self-awareness, develop coping skills for stress, and harness their strengths to foster positive change. She tailors her approach to each individual, incorporating cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and elements of humanistic, existential, and psychodynamic therapy to meet their unique needs.

Frequency and Length of Session

In order to make progress, your consistent participation in treatment is necessary.  

The session is usually once a week for 55-60 minutes.  

Depending on the severity of symptoms and the situation, two sessions per week can be beneficial.

Please note: Medicare's standard session is 50 minutes. 

 

Payment

 

Cash, personal check and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discovery) are accepted. 

Dr. Iijima accepts Medicare PPO, but does not accept any other insurances. 

Depending on your insurance plan, there may be a co-pay. 

The full payment must be paid on the day of the session.

$175/60-minutes session

$90/30-minutes session  

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Please contact Dr. Iijima 48 hours prior to your appointment in order to avoid being charged a full session fee as  

insurance companies will not pay for the missed session and you will be responsible to pay for it.
